Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners and WorkMoney are partnering to bring TrustPlus financial coaching to millions of hardworking families across the country.

As a national nonprofit, WorkMoney helps its more than 8 million members find and use the information, benefits, and tools available to them, putting money back in their pockets. WorkMoney is now expanding its offerings to include a vital new resource to help its members build credit and work toward their major financial goals: free, one-on-one financial coaching through TrustPlus, Neighborhood Trust’s solution designed specifically for workers.

As a nonprofit social enterprise, TrustPlus provides guidance that is free, confidential, and unbiased, with coaching never used to sell or promote a particular product or service.

TrustPlus financial coaching represents an important expansion of WorkMoney’s existing suite of member benefits. In addition to WorkMoney’s on-demand tools, members will now have access to expert credit-building guidance from their own personal Financial Coach, enabling them to build the credit needed to reach important financial milestones, like qualifying for an affordable car loan or mortgage.

“Every day, we see the consequences of America’s unaffordability crisis on working families: a relentless struggle to make ends meet, often showing up in the form of overwhelming debt burdens, damaged credit, and vulnerability to the most predatory and exploitative financial services—challenges we expect to intensify in the months ahead,” said Justine Zinkin, CEO of Neighborhood Trust. “These are exactly the issues that TrustPlus helps workers address, and we are grateful to be able to bring our financial coaching to many more people through this exciting partnership with WorkMoney.

TrustPlus Financial Coaches help their clients build credit by giving them the information, strategies, and financial products they need to overcome their financial pain points and work toward their goals. The result: stronger credit, lower debt bills, better cash flow, and less financial stress.

“We’re thrilled to bring TrustPlus financial coaching services to our 8 million members,” said Carrie Joy Grimes, CEO of WorkMoney. “At WorkMoney, we’re committed to helping everyday Americans afford a better life—and this is a strong step in that direction.”
